When choosing a seal, the choice of management of variable data relating to the stone is essential. There are various ways of writing data in a seal.
In our catalog there are 4 standard sizes of seals:
• CARD SIZE 8.6x5.4 cm
• SMALL card size 7.5x4.5 cm
• GIA and HRD size 8.0x4.2 cm
• IGI size 7.5x4.0 cm
For everyone, the data management methods are the same.
FILE MANAGEMENT WITH PAPER LABELS
This type of management is very simple and economical. Managing paper labels can be achieved by printing them with a computer and a normal printer and then cutting them to size.
LAYOUT MANAGEMENT :
Using paper labels means being able to insert them only inside the seal and making them visible only through the front or rear windows, but having limited and fixed spaces.
PROS: it is the cheapest system
CONS: it is difficult to insert them correctly without them moving
FILE MANAGEMENT WITH ADHESIVE LABELS
This type of management is also very simple and economical. The management of adhesive labels can be achieved with dedicated printers and a computer. Once printed, the labels must be cut to size (automatically with our printer).
LAYOUT MANAGEMENT:
Even the use of adhesive labels implies being able to insert them only inside the seal and make them visible only through front or rear windows, with limited and pre-established spaces.
PROS: it is an economical system, also considering the costs of the printer
CONS: it is still difficult to insert them but using a template and adhesive makes the job easier
FILE MANAGEMENT WITH PRINTABLE CARDS
Using the card as a seal closure allows for flexible management of the back of the seal. In fact, the management of variable data through the use of a dedicated card printer is the most complete and versatile means for the needs of our customers.
The use of the card gives the possibility of printing both front and back, thus obtaining maximum versatility and rationality in the use of the available spaces, modifying them according to the type of stone, marketing or personalization needs towards your customers.
LAYOUT MANAGEMENT:
Using the Card means being able to enter variable data visible both from the front of the seal, if there is a front window, and from the entire back since the Card is also the closure of the seal
PRO: the great possibility of managing files, including, for example, the possibility of creating fidelity cards or guarantees for jewels even with the use of photographs.
CONS: the cost of the printer. Furthermore, except for the 8.6x5.4 cm seals, all other seal sizes require the reduction of the Card with the dedicated card cutter.
We have both card printers and label printers in our catalog, but our systems work with any card printer and any label that fits the size of our seal.
